Product Designer

PayForward is our internal company initiative with the core purpose to help students and early stage professionals cohorts the ability to learn, work and experience some of cutting-edge technology use cases, while providing a global experience working with senior technologists.


We follow an agile modern application lifecycle methodology bounded in a flat management hierarchy, based on a collaborative squad cloud (code) development model. Our Core Values are the standards by which we conduct ourselves day in and day out, both internally and externally.


Desired Qualification:

  • – 5+ years’ experience with a customer-centered approach to designing products.
  • – Effective communicator, never hide bad news, confront roadblocks that pop up, and challenge ideas while keeping an open mind and seek to learn new things
  • – You are comfortable with ambiguity, seek clarity, and solve problems creatively
  • – Always improving, love trying new things and iterating toward a better solution



  • – Partner with the Product Management and Engineering teams to launch digital products
  • – Own parts of the overall experience while adhering to our style guide, and UX patterns, but also be willing to challenge them, add to them, and make it better
  • – Work in a fast-paced, agile environment, understanding requirements, sketching, creating wireframes, prototyping, designing, and delivering final UI specs to the development team
  • – Lead brainstorm sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional team members in the pursuit of creating the most useful, simplest, desirable, and engaging experiences for our users
  • – Thrive in a creative and experimental environment with a culture of daily standup updates
  • – Able to remotely work a minimum of 40 hours a week (we can be flexible around your schedule)
  • – Willing to sign a waiver and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • – This will be a non-paying role initially, with a path to stipends or full-time job
